Q. “How long have you been around?”
A. New Hope has been in the works and on the drawing board since May 2004. Following a year of preparation and “ground work,” New Hope began weekly gatherings on September 4, 2005.
Q. “Are you part of a denomination or association or something?”
A. Yes, we are members of the Evangelical Free Church of America, Northern Mountain District.
Q. “What do you believe about God, Heaven, and the Bible?”
A. New Hope believes that God exists eternally in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit… Heaven is not earned, but is the free gift for those who trust in Jesus Christ alone to forgive their sin… the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. Q. “Is there a reason behind the name New Hope Bible Church?”
A. I'm glad you asked. First of all, we will always teach the Bible… it is our authority and source of wisdom and truth (it is God’s message to us). Also, we live in a broken world and we’re all broken people. And God puts lives back together and offers us New Hope. “There is HOPE for your future” says the Lord (Jeremiah 31:17).
Q. “What time do you meet?”
A. New Hope gathers every Sunday morning at 10:00am in the Drake Plaza next to the lake in River Rock. We provide a nursery for newborns up to to 1 year and children's Sunday School up to 3rd grade.
